TRIP DESCRIPTION
Big Bend National Park is a photographer's dream, offering some of the darkest skies in the United States, perfect for capturing the stunning Milky Way. Nestled in the remote region of West Texas, the park features dramatic desert landscapes, rugged mountains, and the winding Rio Grande River. This diverse terrain provides endless opportunities to combine astrophotography with striking foregrounds, from the iconic Santa Elena Canyon to the Chisos Mountains. Join us as we explore this breathtaking national park, where every night sky tells a story, and every sunrise paints the desert in golden hues.

TRIP DETAILS
Start Location: Terlingua, Texas
Day 1 (D) Travel Day
(Must arrive by 2pm)
Dinner will be provided
We will be in Terlingua for a meet and greet and early dinner. We will be staying in or near Terlingua for our base location. We will go over the itinerary and head out for some sunset shots and possible milky way weather permitting.
Day 2 ( B,D)
We’ll get started early on our first morning, setting off pre-dawn to set up for a sunrise location. We will stop for breakfast after our sunrise session. Take a mid day break with a early dinner and head back out for sunset and possible milky way weather permitting.
Day 3 ( B,L,D)
We’ll get started early on our first morning, setting off pre-dawn to set up for a sunrise location. We will stop for breakfast after our sunrise session. Midday we will explore other areas in the park have sandwiches for lunch head back for a break and dinner before we head out for sunset shots.
Day 4 ( B )
This will be our final sunrise of our amazing trip after breakfast we will drop off in Terlingua and say our goodbyes and reflect on the wonderful friendships we made.
