Fall in Colorado is nothing short of a visual symphony. The aspen trees don their golden attire, contrasting vividly with the evergreen pines and the cobalt blue skies. The landscape is a cascade of warm hues—gold, orange, and red—that seem to have been painted by Mother Nature herself.
We will start our journey in the town of Ridgway. We will be traveling by vehicle everyday to different parts of the San Juan Mountains and surrounding areas . The sunrise and is an event that we will capture everyday and some of the most stunning sunsets you will witness.

Travel to Million Dollar Highway outside of Ouray, CO.
Zoom meeting 4 weeks prior to the workshop
End Location: Ridgway, CO.
Workshop will end after sunset on the second day.
The weather in the mountains will start out cold in the morning but will warm up during the day. Once the sun sets it will get chilly again. It has been known to snow in Colorado in the fall and spring. You never know. Remember to dress in layers and bring rain gear.
Daily Itinerary
Day 1: We will meet in Ridgway, CO, and drive to Crystal Lake, located on the Million Dollar Highway. After the sunrise we will continue on our journey to photograph the fall leaves and mountains. We will end the day with a sunset to remember in the mountains.
Day 2: We will meet in Ridgway, CO, and start driving towards the San Juans to catch a spectacular sunrise. We will continue to photograph the mountains and the fall leaves, following the sunlight, to make sure you are at the right place to photograph the aspen leaves. After we conclude our workshop with a breath-taking sunset we will deliver you back to Ridgway, CO.
