TRIP DESCRIPTION
The Grand Tetons National Park in Wyoming is a place where nature unveils its most intimate secrets, a sanctuary where the soul of the Earth breathes through towering peaks, expansive skies, and the ever-changing tapestry of colors. As the leaves turn from green to shades of gold, crimson, and amber, the park transforms into a canvas painted with the warm hues of fall—a spectacle that every photographer should experience at least once in their lifetime. The Grand Tetons are not just mountains; they are a symphony of geological wonders, each element contributing to a grander masterpiece. The jagged peaks serve as a dramatic backdrop to the serene lakes at their feet, like Jenny Lake and Jackson Lake, which mirror the sky and the fall foliage in their calm waters. The aspen and cottonwood trees are ablaze with autumnal colors, providing a striking contrast to the evergreen pines. This is a landscape that begs to be captured through a lens, each frame a keepsake of nature's grandeur.
Fall in the Grand Tetons is a fleeting but unforgettable experience. The warm colors of the season imbue the landscape with a surreal quality, as if the park has donned its finest attire for a grand ball. The golden aspens shimmer in the sunlight, their leaves dancing to the tune of the wind. The red maples add depth and drama, their foliage a fiery spectacle against the cobalt blue sky. These colors are not just a feast for the eyes; they are a palette that allows for endless creativity in composition and framing. While the focus of our journey will be landscape photography, the Grand Tetons offer a rich tapestry of wildlife that may grace your lens if the opportunity arises. From majestic elk, buffalo, moose and the famous 399 grizzly bear, the park is a haven for various species that call this place home. Capturing these creatures in their natural habitat, against the backdrop of fall colors, can add an extra layer of excitement and authenticity to your portfolio.
We will start our journey in the historic town of Jackson Hole. We will be traveling by vehicle everyday to the park. The sunrise is an event that we will capture everyday and some of the most stunning sunsets you will witness.
The trip is limited to 6 photographers

We’ll get started early on our first morning, setting off pre-dawn to set up for an iconic sunrise location. We will then start looking for wildlife. In the Fall we’ll be at the Park rut season, so wildlife like elk, bison, and pronghorn, among others, should be quite active.
Day 3 ( B,L,D)
Is there anything more serene than a mountain landscape reflected in still, glassy water? This is precisely the scene we’ll be expecting at Schwabacher’s Landing, our sunrise location for this day. We will be touring the Tetons looking for wildlife and enjoying the view of the Tetons We will take a break and enjoy and nice lunch. Along the way we’ll look for Moose, Bald Eagle, Fox, Bighorn Sheep, and any other critter who might show up along the way. Dinner will be back in Jackson Hole.

This morning we will be going to my favorite spot. It is called Oxbow Bend. We will be arriving in time for the sunrise. You will be able to catch the refection of Mt. Moran on the water. Sometimes you are able to capture the steam coming off the water. This is also a great opportunity to catch birds landing on the water. We will be able to eat breakfast in the Tetons. About 2 hours before sunset we will do our last sunset of our trip.
